The context
Because we don’t appreciate rosé, we have given ourselves a treat, since 2002, by relaunching a “claret” red – an old expression from the Midi used to describe reds that are light, fruity and delicious.
The delicacy of the Carignan blends naturally with the tart red fruits of the Riveyrenc Noir and the Picpoul Noir.
Its personality
Everything in this cuvée expresses its youth :
– a pretty garnet shade
– the freshness of a fruity aroma
– the full and lively attack on the palate
– a finish with soft tannins, bringing out the taste of fruit and candies.
Gourmet matches
Halfway between a rosé and a red, it will accompany your summer salads, charcuterie, white meats and grilled fish. To be drunk within 3 years, served at 14°.
